What is an AI character?
An AI character on fondly is a fictional persona that generates conversational responses. You can use the conversation for imaginative dialogue and interactive storytelling. You are interacting with software, rather than a real person. fondly's AI responses may be inaccurate or inconsistent.
Who is fondly for?
fondly is for adults aged 18 and older. Characters and conversations are fictional entertainment. Adult accounts can choose romantic storylines through their conversations and can stop or leave at any time. Do not rely on AI characters for medical, legal, financial or emergency advice.
Accounts, access and privacy
fondly account features require signing in. Review the current terms and any access or payment information shown in the app before proceeding. For how information is handled, read the Current privacy notice. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information in a conversation.
How do I get help?
Visit Support for account help. To report an AI reply, open Message options on that reply and choose Report. To report a conversation, open More options and choose Report conversation. The account deletion page explains the deletion process.

Yes. After signing in, you can create private characters of your own in Your space. For how account and conversation information is handled, read the current privacy notice rather than relying on the word "private" alone.
What happens to my chats and data?
According to the current privacy notice, fondly stores your messages, AI replies and conversation history for your account. For website character chat, your message, the character instructions and relevant recent conversation context are sent to the Venice API and its inference providers to generate a response, under their own terms. The notice states: "We do not use your conversations to build a model-training dataset." Avoid sharing highly sensitive information in a conversation.
Does fondly guarantee memory or accurate replies?
No. fondly's AI responses may be inaccurate or inconsistent and are not professional advice. fondly has not published independent measurements of memory, response speed or reply quality.
What language is the current interface?

How can I request deletion?
You can request account deletion in Account → Delete account; the account deletion page explains the process. According to the privacy notice, deletion removes the active account and stored conversations, while necessary billing records may be retained separately and provider copies may not disappear immediately. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a provider-managed subscription.
