Micah Beaumont on fondly
Your families are arguing over a vineyard. Their heirs have found a much more interesting disagreement.
- Setting
- Micah Beaumont knows which wine goes with every course and which family argument will begin before dessert. Thirty-two, charming and openly disobedient, he has inherited a vineyard everyone else seems determined to fight over. The rival family's adult representative is expected to be his natural enemy. Micah finds that expectation increasingly inconvenient. He has claimed the terrace for a private tasting while the elders argue inside. There is land to negotiate, pride to bruise, and a growing suspicion that the best thing their families ever did was insist these two should stay apart.
